I’ve known Mark as a personal trainer and a friend for over ten years. He started training me then and right from the start I felt that he was different from any trainers I’ve met before. Over time I learned his personal story of self healing but even before that I realized that he has a vast knowledge of human body and its mechanics, and he is the person I could trust completely. And this trust has not been under any doubt for all these years. When you come to Mark with any problem or pain in your muscles or joints, Mark knows exactly what is causing it and immediately jumps in and starts treating the underlying cause. He is extremely precise in all exercises he designs for his students and knows exactly how to achieve the utmost accuracy and efficiency. Before Mark I was always concerned about exercising on my own because without knowledge of how to do things right, it’s easy to hurt yourself rather than help. And nobody was explaining how things need to be done, and more importantly why. Mark explains all of it, and I feel comfortable stretching and exercising on my own, listening to the tensions and feelings of my own body and knowing what I should be expecting and what I want to achieve. He is definitely a guru of fitness and healing, and has the means and tools of fixing people’s problems in his arsenal way more effective than many doctors in “skeleton-related” fields or pain management. Physicians have only medicines and surgeries after all while Mark is activating the body’s reserves to self-heal and lay the foundation of healthy body for years to come. He is a living proof of the approach and is religiously exercising and stretching, himself. It is very tedious and time consuming process but the only way to stay on one’s game for many years. I would recommend Mark without any hesitation to anyone who is concerned about their physical health and wants to fix current issues and unleash the full potential of body’s fascinating potential to stay healthy way into their retirement years.

Since I started working with Mark, I have literally been transformed. My posture is unrecognizable from how it looked before, but more importantly, I am pain-free almost all of the time. When I do have pain, we understand where it comes from and how to address its root cause. Before I met Mark, my core strength was non-existent, and I didn’t know how to work my abdominal muscles without triggering neck pain. In fact, I couldn’t really do anything without bothering my neck. Now I not only have a stronger core, but I know how to use it to maintain my posture and unburden my neck and shoulders. I can’t imagine how different my life would have been if I had receive this training 20 years ago, but I am immensely grateful to have finally gotten the help I need.

Mark is an exceptional trainer who does not shy away from telling what you need to know to improve your health. I have worked with Mark for over nine years and my health has markedly improved. I would estimate that working with Mark has extended my life by 10 years. Mark has a unique approach to fitness with special attention to the core, balanced muscle tension and flexibility. My understanding of the importance of maintaining joint health increased exponentially working with Mark. Trainers I have used in the past have emphasized strength or diet, but Mark’s holistic approach based on an insightful knowledge of body mechanics made a difference in my life. Mark will almost certainly challenge some of your long held beliefs on health and I initially thought some of his techniques were unorthodox. But I made the leap of faith and Mark has helped me improve my fitness level, maintain an active lifestyle and slow the effects of aging.

I had severely injured both knees last year and went through 2 surgeries and after that I needed to technically learn to walk again. I am in the medical field so I know it takes time and patience to recover from such injuries. I started with several physiotherapy sessions but progress was slower than I liked and expected. I knew Mark by name and reputation through my friends and he has been my husband’s trainer for years. I decided to start working out with him instead of physiotherapy. The best that I can describe him is that, he made a new me. Mark is very knowledgable about anatomy and physics of the body. He knows every pain related to where and what muscles or what wrong movement. He taught me how to walk properly without putting pressures on my knees. He is still my trainer and he is amazing at what he does. I enjoy every minutes of my workout with him. I believe that he is one of a kind in his profession.

I started working with Mark about 4 years ago. I had a sciatic nerve problem that was really crippling me. I went to a friend that is an orthopedic doctor and he referred me to Mark and told me he goes to him also. Mark had me walk the length of the gym and told me what my problems were and how he could help me fix them. I started working out with him and in a matter of a couple months the pain was pretty much gone and we were working on building things so the problem would only be a memory gone away. I felt like Mark knew what he was talking about and knew what to do to fix things. I found out that some things I had tried to do for years and years were not that good for me. Mark was able to tell me why and substitute other exercises that would bring good results without doing the damage that many common exercises inflict. About 2 years into my working out with Mark I was water skiing and tore my Hamstring. It was bad! The whole back of my leg was purple and black. It took a while but with Mark’s help we were able to recover from that injury and things are as good as they have been for a long time. I am really impressed with Mark’s understanding of the body. He works you hard but knows what he is doing to help ensure you enjoy life by having a body that allows you to participate in life’s events. I appreciate his efforts to ensure physical comfort in my life. I have referred others to him and they have experienced good things as they have worked with him.

I started working out with Mark in 2018 at the recommendation of a friend. I’ve had double knee surgeries plus an additional surgery on a leg after I broke it badly. I had been a collegiate athlete, but the surgeries left me with long term issues. In the time I’ve worked with Mark, I’ve seen tremendous changes and improvement. He totally understands the body, how it works, how mine works, the physics and the structure of it and has developed an individualized approach for each person. No two of my workouts are the same, it’s a progression to help each muscle combination sequence correctly, strengthen the weakened areas and improve the overall structure. For years, I have always wanted to get my core stronger and it hasn’t been this strong since I was in my twenties. Even then, I’m not positive that it was strong in all the right ways. I feel so different and my developed strength has given me so much confidence in daily living. Mark really is unique in his abilities, in his understanding and in his training. He’s driven, passionate and willing to stick with helping each person as they progress in their physical development and for some, rehabilitation. I can’t say enough good about his skills, his work ethic and his desire to help.
